WEC featherweight champion Jose Aldo beat challenger “The California Kid” Urijah Faber in his hometown to defend the 145-pound lion.

The fight main evented WEC 48, World Extreme Cagefighting’s pay-per-view debut, and took place at ARCO Arena in Sacramento, Calif.

WEC begin at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT local time) for the preliminary card, 9 p.m. ET for the Spike TV card, and 10 p.m. ET for the main card.
