Vitor Belfort vs. Michael Bisping in Brazil? Phenom Says “It’s all rumors.”

Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Vitor Belfort has shot down the rumor that he’s facing British middleweight, Michael Bisping next fight inside the octagon, a rumor that has ran through the mixed martial arts world today like wildfire.

Belfort, posting via his Twitter account, said:

“I don’t have anything confirmed about fighting Bisping. It’s all rumors. When I know about it will let you guys know.”

Belfort is coming off a failed attempt to claim the UFC light heavyweight title off of the champion, Jon Jones at UFC 152 in September, stepping up in weight at short notice only to lose a via submission in the third.

Bisping has had his ups and downs in trying to become a legit contender at 185 pounds after taking defeating Jorge Rivera, Jason “Mayhem” Miller and Brian Stann, but losing to top contenders like Chael Sonnen.
