Vitor Belfort: “The good news that the doctor says I will be ready for Dec”

Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Vitor Belfort has confirmed that the injury he suffered in training this past week is nothing major and he hopes to be back in action as early as December.

Belfort, posting via his Twitter account, said:

“I am out of november card, I have to take care of a injury. Nothing major but the good news that the doctor says I will be ready for dec”

Belfort bounced back from a TKO loss to the UFC middleweight champion, when he was front-kicked in the face by Anderson Silva in February, with a first round TKO win over Japanese superstar, Yoshihiro Akiyama just a few weeks ago.
