UFC on FX 5: Travis Browne vs. Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva Official Results

UFC on FX 5: Browne vs. Bigfoot goes down tonight, October 5th, 2012 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The event, which features a Travis Browne vs. Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva main event, the main card airs on FX following FUEL TV and Facebook prelims. The official results beginning at approximately 4:30 p.m. ET (3:30 p.m. CT local time) for the preliminary card and 8 p.m. ET for the main card.

The fight between John Dodson and Jussier da Silva will be a title elimination bout with the winner to be the first man to challenge the newly crowned UFC Flyweight champion, Demetrious Johnson. The bout between Dennis Hallman and Thiago Tavares was expected to take place at this event; however, UFC officials cancelled the fight before the fighters stepped on the scale, because Hallman had missed weight significantly. Tavares and Hallman were both paid show and win money and Hallman was subsequently released from the organization.

Although UFC officials have made no comment about Jeremy Stephens’ arrest earlier today, his fight with Yves Edwards has been removed from the UFC.com fight card
