UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch Official Results

In a somewhat surprising decision last tonight at UFC 127 in Sydney, Australia, former lightweight champion, BJ Penn and welterweight contender, Jon Fitch battled to a majority draw, a decision that had even the ultra-talented Hawaiian somewhat confused.

UFC middleweight contender, Michael Bisping took another step towards a title shot, defeating Jorge Rivera via second round TKO, but it will be the after fight antics and the illegal knee that will be remembered.

Dennis Siver pulled off somewhat of an upset tonight defeating submission wizard, George Sotiropoulos via unanimous decision, but veteran welterweight, Brian Ebersole pulled off “the” upset of the night at UFC 127, defeating another veteran in Chris Lytle via unanimous decision.
