UFC 112: Invincible medical suspensions and injuries

7 Medical suspensions have been confirmed for the fighters who competed at UFC 112: “Invincible,” which took place from the Concert Arena in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, April 10th, 2010.

Demian Maia could be suspended for up to 180 days for the damage sustained in the main event bout vs. Anderson Silva. Renzo Gracie is also on the list after his leg was repeatedly pounded on by former welterweight champion Matt Hughes.

Here is the complete list of UFC 112 medical suspensions:

Brad Blackburn – 45 days no contest (30 days no contact).
Demian Maia – 60 days no contest (45 days no contact). CT Scan required on head, face and orbital with Doctor’s clearance or minimum 180 days.
Kendall Grove – 30 days no contest (21 days no contact).
Matt Veach – 45 days no contest (30 days no contact).
Phil Davis – 30 days no contest (21 days no contact).
Renzo Gracie – 30 days no contest (21 days no contact).
Rick Story – 30 days no contest (21 days no contact). X-ray required on right knee and left elbow with Doctor’s clearance or minimum 180 days.
