Travis Browne Sidelined For At Least Two To Four Months With Torn Hamstring

Formerly undefeated UFC heavyweight, Travis Browne has revealed that he will have to sit out for up to four months after tearing his hamstring during his UFC on FX 5 main event bout with Antonio “Big Foot” Silva, the first defeat of his mixed martial arts career.

Browne, posting via his Twitter, said:

“And they said I tore my hamstring, ill be out for 2-4 months. Luckily no surgery. Thank you again for your support. Ill be back stronger!”

Browne will have time to think about where he sits on the heavyweight ladder ranks after suffering the very first defeat of his professional mixed martial arts career.
