Todd Duffee turns down fight vs. Antonio “Big Foot” Silva on December 4th

The man who holds the record for the fastest knock-out in UFC history, Todd Duffee has reportedly turned down the opportunity to compete under the Strikeforce banner later this month to fill in for an injured Valentjin Overeem vs. Antonio “Big Foot” Silva.

According to Josh Gross of ESPN, Duffee has also turned down advances from Bellator FC as well, although his reasons for doing so are undetermined at this time.

On September 7, 2010, Duffee was released from the UFC for unknown reasons. Dana White later said in an interview with Ariel Helwani that he had an attitude problem and that it seemed to him that “he doesn’t want to be in the UFC, he doesn’t like being in the UFC.” He also said that he could work his way back into the organization via fighting in smaller leagues. Duffee is playing in a 2011 film called Never Back Down 2 starring Michael Jai White (the sequel to 2008’s Never Back Down) as Tim.
