Tim Sylvia pulls out of fight vs. Pedro Rizzo with suspected broken foot

Former UFC heavyweight stars Pedro Rizzo and Tim Sylvia were set to square off on August 14th but Rizzo has confirmed that Sylvia has pulled out the bout due to a suspected broken foot. Pedro now will await a suitable replacement.

Speaking via Tatame Magazine, Rizzo said:

“Tim Sylvia got hurt, I think he broke his feet, but I’ll fight on August 14 again. I’m just waiting for the confirmation. If it’s him, I’ll be glad to do this fight, but I don’t mind who I will fight against. I can’t say for sure it’s him, but I’m looking for someone at my level and I have to wait.”
