Strikeforce: Los Angeles Official Results

Wednesday night’s “Strikeforce: Los Angeles” event kicked off from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, and the main card aired on Showtime.

The event featured a 195-pound catchweight headliner between former EliteXC champ Robbie Lawler and former Strikeforce title-holder Renato “Babalu” Sobral, and the winner is in line for another title shot. Other televised bouts include Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos vs. Marius Zaramoskis, Tim Kennedy vs. Trevor Prangley, and Conor Heun vs. K.J. Noons.

“Babalu” outboxed the hard-hitting Lawler en route to a unanimous-decision win. But surprizingly turned down the title shot for a chance to fight Dan Henderson.

The official results:

Renato “Babalu” Sobral def. Robbie Lawler via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
