Sengoku Raiden Championship 13 Official Results

Nova Uniao featherweight Marlon Sandro followed up a nine-second knockout win in March with a 38-second destruction of former champion Masanori Kanehara at Sunday’s World Victory Road event, Sengoku Raiden Championship 13, in Tokyo, Japan.

The impressive and brutal performance netted Sandro the Sengoku featherweight title, which the 33-year-old added to his trophy case along with the King of Pancrase title he already holds.

Sandro (17-1 MMA, 5-1 SRC) has now used just 3:20 of total ring time to finish off the three opponents he’s faced since suffering the only loss of his career – a highly controversial split-decision defeat at the hands of Michihiro Omigawa in August 2009.
