Scott Coker says Fedor vs. Werdum outcome could trigger PPV

Strikeforce CEO, Scott Coker has confirmed that the promotion may consider putting on a Pay-Per-View depending upon the result of the Fedor Emelianenko vs. Fabricio Werdum fight in San Jose, California on June 26th, 2010.

Coker, speaking at yesterday’s conference call, said:

“If Fedor still has an unblemished record, does it make sense to go into the pay-per-view business? I would say, ‘probably.’ But that’s assuming a lot, because Werdum is a credible opponent. Should he beat Fedor, then maybe it’s a different story.”
