-Bloody Elbow reports that after being flagged for five banned substances ahead of UFC on Fox 21, UFC middleweight Adam Hunter has been banned for two years.

-T.J Dillashaw called the UFC’s booking of Dominic Cruz vs. Cody Garbrandt “a mockery of the sport” in an interview with FanSided.

After making a comment about wanting to commit suicide after a loss in an Instagram post earlier in the week, UFC welterweight Matt Brown clarified that he “is not suicidal in any way,” according to Bloody Elbow.-According to MMAJunkie, multiple networks such as NBC, ESPN, and Turner are in talks with the UFC to broadcast its content upon expiration of the Fox Deal in 2018.

-Eddie Alvarez told Fox Sports he plans to submit Conor McGregor “under the nine-minute mark” at UFC 205.

-Several cars in Anthony Pettis’s driveway were set on fire this week. He called the arson attacks on his cars “a cowardly act” and expressed gratitude that no one was hurt in a post on Instagram.

-Mackenzie Dern told MMA Junkie that she has had talks with UFC and is planning to debut for the promotion sometime in 2017.

Urijah Faber softly backtracked on his pending retirement after his fight with Brad Pickett on Dec. 17, telling “I’d never put extreme limits on myself,” he said. “I would never say, ‘this is it, this is it.’ I mean, somebody might really piss me off and there might be a golden opportunity. You never know.”

-Fabricio Werdum made waves this week with an Instagram post featuring Werdum wearing the typical Reebok “fight kit” only with a Nike logo photoshopped in place of the Reebok logo. Werdum used a series of hashtags in Portuguese that translated to “Suck my balls, Reebok.” Werdum later went on Facebook Live and cleared up that he is not sponsored with Nike, but was making a statement that fighters should speak up and not promote a company’s products for little or no money.
