Ryan Jensen released from the UFC following first round defeat to Jason MacDonald

Nebraskan native, Ryan Jensen has once again been released from the UFC after he was defeated by Jason MacDonald at UFC 129 this past weekend in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Despite his UFC record of 2-6 spanning over two separate runs, Jensen always came to fight, with not one of those bouts going the distance.

Jensen, speaking via his Facebook page, said:

“Saw it Coming. Now its time to turn the page! I want to say thanks to Jackson’s MMA and all the Coaches and Training Partners and to all the Friends/Family I have met along the way! Thanks for all the Support it was One Hell of A Ride!!! Back to Coaching and helping out at my Gym Premier Combat Center in Omaha!”
