Rob Emerson, Fabricio Camoes, Brad Blackburn, Rafaello Oliveira, Matt Veach and Mostapha Al Turk released by UFC

Reported earlier this week, UFC welterweight Jason High (9-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) was let go by the UFC, well now you can add six more fighters to that list.

Rob Emerson(9-9 MMA, 3-3 UFC), Fabricio Camoes (10-5-1 MMA, 0-1-1 UFC), Brad Blackburn (15-11 MMA, 3-2 UFC), Rafaello Oliveira (10-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC), Matt Veach (11-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC), Mostapha Al Turk (6-6 MMA, 0-3 UFC) have all been cut from the UFC roster.

Sources close to the promotion confirmed the news Wednesday.

Emerson most recently faced Nik Lentz at UFC Fight Night 21: Gomi vs. Florian on March 31st, 2010. He lost via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 29-28).

Camoes was defeated by Kurt Pellegrino via Submission (Rear Naked Choke) on March 27th, 2010, at UFC 111: St. Pierre vs. Hardy.

Blackburn lost to DaMarques Johnson via TKO (Body Kick) on April 10th, 2010 at UFC 112: Invincible.

Oliveria most recently was defeated by Andre Winner via unanimous decision on March 31, 2010 at UFC Fight Night 21, replacing an injured Cole Miller.

Veach faced Paul Kelly at UFC 112, losing via second round submission. The loss was his second straight.

Al-turk faced The Ultimate Fighter 10 alumni, Jon Madsen, at UFC 112 losing via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). This loss brought his MMA record to 6-6, with 3 losses in a row.
