Paul “Semtex” Daley vs. Tyron Woodley or Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos at Strikeforce in July

Welterweight heavy hitting Brit, Paul “Semtex” Daley will make a quick return to the Strikeforce cage after it was confirmed today that he is iunder consideration for the yet to be announced July event headlined by Fedor Emelianenko and Dan Henderson.

A source close to the situation revealed the news earlier today dropping both names of Tyron Woodley and the more likely, Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos as potential opponents.

Daley is coming off a very exciting performance, which seen him losing a first round TKO to current Strikeforce champion, Nick Diaz. Daley called for an immediate rematch but with the man from Stockton heading to the world of boxing it appears there will be no rematch.

Woodley headlined his second Strikeforce Challengers event on January 7th defeating Tarec Saffiedine via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28). Santos, like Daley, also faced Strikeforce welterweight champion, Nick Diaz last time out losing via armbar submission in the second round back in January.
