Pat Audinwood becomes latest fighter to be cut from the UFC’s roster

The “Awesomely Awesome”, Pat Audinwood has become the latest fighter to be cut by the UFC after two failed attempts inside the octagon. The news was confirmed on Thursday by a source close to the situation.

In July 2010, Audinwood signed with the UFC. His debut opponent was scheduled to be Aaron Riley at UFC 119, but Riley withdrew due to a back injury and was replaced by Thiago Tavares. The bout took place on September 25th, 2010, in Indianapolis and seen Tavares defeat Audinwood in the first round by guillotine choke.

Last time out, Audinwood faced UFC newcomer John Makdessi earlier this month at UFC 124, losing that fight as well via unanimous decision.
