PANCRASE Signs Marlon Sandro To Multi Fight Deal

Sandro’s first event is set to go down on April 26, 2015 though his opponent is still unknown at this time.

“The Gladiator” is a top contender in Japan where he has competed successfully. Sandro began his career in Shooto Brazil before moving on to be the second Featherweight King of Pancrase in 2008. He went on to win the Sengoku Featherweight Championship title, and launched his international career in Bellator.

Sandro came back to Pancrase for their 20th Anniversary event in 2013 and ended up with a draw in a crazy scramble with Yojiro Uchimura. He hinted at what might lie ahead of him on the Japanese front at that time.

Pancrase also recently announced an archive licensing deal has been made with Zuffa to air content on UFC’s Fight Pass.
