Nick Pace out of UFN 24, Edwin Figueroa vs. Michael McDonald in Seattle, WA

Another injury has come to affect the UFC Fight Night 24 card as Bantamweight, Nick Pace has been forced to pull out of his preliminary card bout with Michael McDonald. Undefeated prospect and promotional newcomer, Edwin Figueroa has stepped up as a replacement.

McDonald fought once for the WEC before it folded, winning impressively with a first round submission via armbar over veteran, Clint Godfrey. He’ll be looking to further impress on the biggest stage of them all as he makes his octagon debut.

Figueroa in undefeated in his mixed martial arts career, holding a record of 7-0 overall. The fighter has competed mostly in the Texas area on regional promotional shows, picking up a number of impressive stoppage wins.
