Nick Diaz Talks Possible Move To Lightweight Division At Twitter Q&A

After showing up late to a twitter Q&A session Wednesday, UFC bad boy Nick Diaz answered some questions from MMA fans on a number of topics.

Diaz was peeved when a fan asked if he could learn from Chris Weidman’s game plan against Anderson Silva by checking “The Spider’s” leg kicks.

Here was his response:

“That’s a rude question, I train with Joe Schilling, I’d say he’s one of the top kick boxers in the world. I’ve always had some of the best kick boxers in the world in the gym.”

Diaz is moving from the Welterweight division to the Middleweight division for his upcoming fight against Silva in January, one fan asked about the possibility of Diaz moving down in weight and possibly competing in the UFC Lightweight division.

Heres what he had to say:

“On account of the athleticism I bring to the table, I am sure I could make it to 155, (I) don’t know that going to 155 would be necessary to fight anyone at that weight, unless it was for the fight that people want to see and makes sense.”

Diaz challenges Silva in the main event of UFC 183, which takes place on January 31, 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
