It appears the middleweight bout between Nate Marquardt and Michael Bisping could be back on for the early part of next year should the Brit get past Yoshihiro Akiyama at UFC 120 next month.
The two men were originally set to square off at UFC 114 in May but Marquardt pulled out because his wife was expecting their first child. He was replaced by Dan Miller who Bisping duly beat via unanimous decision.
Marquardt was in action earlier this week when he scored a first round TKO win over talented Brazilian grappler, Rousimar Palhares at UFC Fight Night 22 in Austin, Texas. This fight could very well determine the next number one contender in the division.
