Nate Marquardt vs. Anthony Johnson at 170lbs for main event at UFC on Versus 4

The UFC on Versus 4 card on June 26th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania just got it’s main event of the evening, as former UFC middleweight title contender, Nate Marquardt makes his move down to 170 pounds to take on welterweight monster, Anthony “Rumble” Johnson.

Marquardt has had his share of ups and downs in the middleweight division, losing to Chael Sonnen and Yushin Okami while defeating Rousimar Palhares and Dan Miller. His hope that his size advantage over the welterweights will help him capture UFC gold.

Johnson has had to cut down from around 230 pounds in the past to make the 170 pound limitm making the size difference factor obsalete in this match up. He was last seen, returning from a long layoff due to injury, just last month grinding out UK star, Dan Hardy via unanimous decision.
