Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal vs. Roger Gracie rumoured for Strikeforce’s first PPV event

Former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion, Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal and Brazilian submission machine, Roger Gracie are rumoured to clash for a July date that is not specified and location yet to be determined, a card that could be the first PPV event for the California based MMA promotions.

Lawal hasn’t been seen since losing his Strikeforce light heavyweight title against Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante at in August of last year. Cavalcante beat him on the feet and defended well against the takedown en route to taking the 205-pound title from the man dubbed “King Mo”.

Gracie is undefeated at 4-0 overall and recently picked up and impressive submission win over veteran, Trevor Prangley on the promotions January show. He also holds a win over former UFC heavyweight champion, Kevin Randleman.
