Mark Hunt Signed A New 6 Fight Deal With The UFC

UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt is gearing up fir his upcoming bout against Roy Nelson at UFC Fight Night in Japan on September 20, but is looking towards his retirement in the next few years. Hunt told sources that while he’s not going anywhere yet, he does have his retirement date set. He just signed a new six fight deal with the UFC so after that he plans to retire.

Mark has been has had no problem voicing his opinions on his contract negotiations with the UFC and his desire to make more money. Right now the terms of his new deal are unknown but it must have been enough to secure his services for at least six more fights before he heads into retirement.

Hunt is stepping back into the octagon following one of the most epic heavyweight fights in UFC history when he faced off against Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva in a five-round draw last December. Since then he has been out with a hand injury, but he’s set to return to his old stomping grounds in Japan where he will face Nelson next month.
