Manny Gamburyan forced out of UFC 128 return on March 19th due to a back injury

TUF 5 runner-up, Manny Gamburyan has pulled out of his UFC 128 bout with top rated Brazilian featherweight, Raphael Assuncao due to a back injury.

The promotion revealed the news this morning from their temporary base of operations in Sydney, Australia. A search for a replacement is already underway.

Gamburyan hasn’t seen action inside the cage since he was out classed by UFC featherweight champion, Jose Aldo back in September of last year while under the WEC banner.
