Luiz Cane Becomes Latest Fighter To Be Released From The UFC

Brazilian heavy hitter, Luiz Cane has become the latest fighter to be released from the Ultimate Fighting Championship following a recent streak of bad results inside the octagon.

Tatame Magazine delivered the news earlier today with fighters manager, Alex Davis. Davis also said that Cane has had to undergo two knee surgeries lately and that he will be back with some wins outside the organization.

Cane begun his career with the UFC with a controversial disqualification loss to James Irvin. He won his next three fights, but four losses in his next five bouts sealed his fate. He was defeated by Chris Camozzi last time out making the UFC’s decision a little easier.
