Little Nog Out, Thiago Silva vs. Alexander Gustafsson at UFC on FUEL 2 on April 14th

Former PRIDE vet, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira has been forced out of his main event bout at UFC on FUEL 2 on April 14th with Alexander Gustafsson and has been replaced by Brazilian heavy hitter, Thiago Silva. Silva was due to face Igor Pokrajac on the UFC on FX 3 card in May but most likely jumped on the main event opportunity.

Gustafsson had a great 2011, defeating both Matt Hamill and Vladimir Matyushenko via TKO. The man to beat him was Phil Davis with a first round submission at UFC 112.

Silva was last seen at UFC 125 in January 2011, winning the fight initially via unanimous decision against Brandon Vera. The fight was later ruled a no-contest after the Brazilian tested positive for performance enhancing drugs.
