Color commentator Joe Rogan will be unable to call the UFC’s long-awaited return to Brazil. MMAWeekly reports UFC featherweight Kenny Florian has agreed to replace Rogan and work alongside Mike Goldberg to call “UFC 134: Silva vs. Okami” on August 27th.
Florian is no stranger to sitting in the booth, as he’s provided his words-eye-view on numerous occasions in the past. The 145-pound top contender is also a regular analyst for ESPN2?s MMA Live. UFC 134 takes place inside the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Ken-flo challenges featherweight king Jose Aldo for his crown at UFC 136 on October 8th at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Rogan is expected to return to his post for “UFC Fight Night 25: Battle on the Bayou” on September 17th.
