Keith Jardine signs with Strikeforce, debuts vs. Gegard Mousasi on April 9th

Former UFC veteran, Keith Jardine has signed with the California based MMA promotion, Strikeforce and wont wait lonf to make his debut when he fills in for the injured Mike Kyle next weekend on their April 9th show, taking on former light heavyweight champion, Gegard Mousasi.

Jardine has finally got back on track after suffering a five fight losing streak including stoppage losses to Thiago Silva and Ryan Bader. He has since put together back-to-back wins, defeating Francisco France and Aron Lofton.

Mousasi took time out from his career with Strikeforce following his April loss to “King Mo” Lawal, heading over to Japan where he captured the DREAM light heavyweight title. He has said this week that he may pursue a career in boxing over the coming months as well.
