Josh Koscheck suffers a broken orbital bone courtesy of Georges St. Pierre

UFC welterweight contender, Josh Koscheck suffered a broken orbital bone at the hands of current UFC welterweight champion, Georges St-Pierre last night in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in the main event of UFC 124, according to ESPN.

The news was confirmed to ESPN.com by Bob Cook, the American Kickboxing Academy stars trainer earlier today. The injury was sustained after the Canadian peppered “Kos” with multiple jabs to the right of his face.

Koscheck is unable to fly due to the nature of the injury and will drive to Boston to undergo surgery early next week before returning home to San Jose later in the week.
