Josh Barnett: “Everything is as planned and by the book with Texas. Watch me in the ring June 18th”

Despite reports from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation that “Babyface” had just 72 hours to issue the correct paperwork to be licensed in the State of Texas, the former UFC heavyweight champion, Barnett has assured fans that he won’t drop the ball and will be competing on June 18th against Brett Rogers in Dallas, Texas.

Barnett, posting via his Twitter account, said:

“Everything is as planned and by the book with [Texas]. Watch me in the ring [June 18].”

Susan Stanford, the public information officer for the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration, revealed earlier today they wouldn’t be taking into account the fighters history with the California commission despite initial reports.
