Former WEC batamweight contender, Joseph Benavidez will face talented Team Quest alum, Ian Loveland in a bantamweight bout at UFC 128 in Newark, New Jersey on March 19th, 2011.
Benavidez went 5-2 while under the WEC banner, and most recently rebounded from a disappointing loss to current UFC 135 pound champion, Dominick Cruz for a second time by submitting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Wagnney Fabiano.
Loveland stepped up at short notice to make his octagon debut just last month on the season twelve finale of “The Ultimate Fighter”, defeating Tyler Toner, making that his seven win in a row.
