Jon Jones vs. Glover Teixeira At UFC 172 Moved To Late March/Early April

The face off between champion Jon Jones and challenger, Glover Teixeira has been moved back a fourth time after it was revealed it would headline the UFC 172 card set for late March/early April at an undisclosed location.

After initial reports saying the fight would remain apart of UFC 171 despite the recent booking of a Johny Hendricks vs. Robbie Lawler title fight, UFC President Dana White has now clarified Jones vs. Teixeira will headline UFC 172 instead.A date, as well as a location and venue, haven’t been finalized for the pay-per-view card, which is expected to take place in late March or early April. This is the fourth time the Jones vs. Teixeira has been changed.

Jones recently defended his title when he defeated Alexander Gustafsson in a close unanimous decision win at UFC 165, a fight that swung one way and then the other. Teixeira has won all four fight’s he’s had since debuting inside the octagon, defeating Kyle Kingsbury, Fabio Maldonado, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and now Ryan Bader.
