Jon Jones turned down UFC 114 fight with Antonio Rogerio Nogueira

UFC light heavyweight hard hitter, Jon Jones turned down a fight with Antonio Rogerio Nogueira when the UFC notified him of Forrest Griffin’s injury.

Yahoo! reports that Jones expressed to Dana White and his team that he hadn’t been in the gym since he defeated Brandon Vera at UFC on Versus 1 in Broomfield, Colorado on March 21st.

The UFC later secured Jason Brilz to face Rogerio Nogueira at UFC 114 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 29th, 2010.
