Jon Fitch plans on beating down Penn before defeating St-Pierre in a rematch

UFC welterweight contender, Jon Fitch has a busy new year as he aspires to beat down former UFC lightweight kingpin, BJ Penn at UFC 127 on February 27th in Sydney, Australia, all before he faces and defeats Georges St-Pierre in a rematch inside the octagon.

Fitch, speaking to Sherdog.com, said:

“Other than my fight with GSP for the title, this is my biggest fight so far. I just need an impressive performance, more of myself grinding out beat downs and being more aggressive for the finish and just putting a lot of pressure on BJ. As you could see from the first fight, I gave him a better fight than anybody else. I have vast improvement in my stand up game, my Jiu-Jitsu game is off the charts right now, and I’m just a better fighter all around, and the second time that we match up I’ll beat him.”
