Joe Soto to defend title against Joe Warren in San Antonio, Texas

Bellator FC featherweight champion, Joe Soto will defend his title against season two tournament winner, Joe Warren on September 2nd in San Antonio, Texas according to reports.

Soto burst onto the MMA scene last year during the first season of Bellator, defeating the likes of Ben Greer, Yahir Reyes, and Wilson Reis. Since then he’s pulled off an impressive win over UFC veteran, Diego Saraiva.

As for Warren, he was drafted after falling short in the DREAM featherweight tournament, to note though he did defeat Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto. He then moved to Bellator and won each of his three bouts, claiming his spot as number one contender for Soto’s title.
