JMMA Veteran Hideo Tokoro Signs With Bellator

Hideo Tokoro is the latest addition to the Bellator Bantamweight Division as the Dream and K-1 veteran is set to make his Bellator debut later in 2014. Known as one of the most exciting fighters in Japan, the submission ace will be looking to make his mark inside the Bellator cage.

“Hideo Tokoro has been one of the most exciting fighters in Japan over the last decade and is always looking to finish and put on explosive fights,” Bellator President Scott Coker said. “Tokoro is exactly the type of fighter we are looking for and should be a solid addition to our bantamweight roster.”

Tokoro began fighting professionally in 2000 and has collected victories over Brad Pickett, Royler Gracie, and Darren Unyenoyama over his fourteen year career. Having only fought in the United States once over his impressive career, Tokoro is excited to show American fans his unique style to Bellator fans watching on Spike.
