Jeremy Stephens’ Bail Set at $100,000, Facing Extradition to Iowa on Tuesday

UFC lightweight, Jeremy Stephens has had his bail set for $100,000 today ahead of an early afternoon court date in Minneapolis, Minnesota, something that will likely result in extradition to his home state of Iowa.

On Tuesday, Stephens will finally face a judge, with a 1:30 pm CT court date. Stephens, who is currently being held at the Hennepin County Jail in Minneapolis, Minnesota, will be facing extradition to Iowa for an assault charge. According to the county’s online records, he had his bail set at $100,000.

Stephens was recently dominated by former three-time WEC title contender, Donald Cerrone. Prior to that he was defeated by former WEC champion, Anthony Pettis. He was set to face Yves Edwards at UFC on FX 5 just last weekend before he was arrested and put in jail.
