Jason “Mayhem” Miller: First Major Strikeforce Fighter To Sign With The UFC

Former Strikeforce middleweight title contender, Jason “Mayhem” Miller has become the first major fighter to make the switch to the UFC following the recent purchase by Zuffa LLC.

The ultra popular middleweight has signed a multi-fight contract with the Las Vegas based promotion, with Miller’s manager Ryan Parsons confirming the news today.

Miller has not competed under the Strikeforce banner since April when he defeated Tim Stout on the undercard of the Strikeforce: Nashville card. He returned to action in September under the DREAM banner, submitting Kazushi Sakuraba. He has since thrown his name in the hat to coach opposite Michael Bisping on the forthcoming “Ultimate Fighter” season .
