Gina Carano vs. Sarah D’Alelio at Strikeforce in Dallas, Texas on June 18th

Gina Carano’s return to the cage on June 18th has finally been revealed today that she will face Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu artist, Sarah D’Alelio. Non Stop MMA and thr Bleacher Report both have confirmed with sources close to the situation.

Carano has been busy pursuing her movie career including shooting this summers upcoming film, Haywire and hasn’t been seen since she lost to women’s middleweight champion, Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos back in August 2009.

D’Alelio is 4-1 in her mixed martial arts career, with the only loss coming last time out to Julie Kedzie at Jackson’s MMA Series 3 in December last year. A win over the likes of Carano could put her right in the mix in the Srikeforce women’s division.
