Georges St. Pierre vs. Johny Hendricks Confirmed By Dana White For November Possibly In Las Vegas

UFC President, Dana White confirmed today that welterweight champion, Georges St. Pierre will go head to head with number one contender, Johny Hendricks during the month of November, with the fight likely going down in Las Vegas, Nevada.

White, speaking to reporters at UFC 161 fight-week events in Winnipeg, said St-Pierre and Hendricks will meet in November. No date for the event was given, though he did say that the match would likely be held in Las Vegas.

St. Pierre is on an eleven fight winning streak which includes victories over the who’s who in the welterweight division, defeating the likes of Matt Hughes, B.J. Penn, Carlos Condit and now Nick Diaz. Hendricks and Carlos Condit picked up an extra $50,000 each for “Fight of the Night”, with “Big Rigg” also securing a shot at the title with his unanimous decision win.
