GSP: Doctor says my surgery was huge success! Ligament very strong.

UFC welterweight champion, Georges St-Pierre has revealed that his doctor has declared today’s surgery on his torn ACL was a “huge success”, adding the “ligament very strong”.

St-Pierre, posting via his Twitter page, said:

“Dr. ElAttrache says my surgery (ACL patellar tendon autograft) was huge success! Ligament very strong. Tks for support!”

St. Pierre’s return could come between six and ten months depending on his rehabilitation. The welterweight champion will then face the winner of Nick Diaz vs. Carlos Condit, which is for the interim welterweight title.
