Fedor Emelianenko agrees to face Strikeforce light heavyweight champion, Dan Henderson

M-1 Global representative, Apy Echreld has confirmed that formerly ranked number one fighter on the planet, Fedor Emelianenko has agreed to face Strikeforce light heavyweight champion, Dan Henderson over the summer months, giving the fans the kind of “super-fight” they’ve been waiting for.

Apy Echreld, speaking via ESPN.co.uk, said:

“He agreed. He’s ready to fight. With his progress from training, I can only think he’ll be back the way he was. If he doesn’t win, he’ll make his own decisions like he does now. If he stops, he stops. But if he wins, I think he’ll continue fighting.”
