Dennis Hallman Released From The UFC, Paid Show and Win Money

MMA vet, Dennis Hallman has been released from the UFC roster after he failed to make weight for his UFC on FX 5 bout with Thiago Tavares due to personal issues, but the promotion were good enough to pay him both his show and win money.

Hallman, speaking via MMAJunkie, said:

“I am on my way home. I have some serious personal family matters that I am dealing with. That is why the fight isn’t taking place. Dana White paid me my show and win purse and put me on a plane to Seattle to deal with the issues at home.”

Hallman most recently submitted striker, John Makdessi in the very first round at UFC 140 in December. Prior to that he lost to Brian Ebersole via first round TKO.
