David Loiseau steps in to replace injured Nick Catone vs. John Salter at UFC 113

Canadian fighter David Loiseau will get another shot inside the Octagon when he replaces Nick Catone, who was forced to withdraw from the fight due to a back injury, to take on John Salter at UFC 113: Machida vs. Shogun 2.

UFC 113 takes place at the Bell Centre in Montreal on May 8th, 2010. The UFC’s third trip to Canada features a light-heavyweight title rematch between current champion Lyoto Machida and challenger Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.

Loiseau, 30, after putting together three straight wins got a second chance in the UFC but with disappointment; a decision loss to Ed Herman at UFC 97 in April 2009. Most recently Loiseau stopped Chester Post via first round technical knockout at MFL 2: Battleground in February.
