Dana White: “There’s no timetable” for Chael Sonnen’s return to the octagon

UFC President, Dana White says there’s no timetable as yet for the return of former middleweight title contender, Chael Sonnen to return to action as he continues to battle legal actions against him. Sonnen is currently awaiting sentencing for mortgage fraud which could see do time for as long as 20 years, although his cooperation as a witness is likely to see him receive a vastly reduced sentence. He was also suspended for six months by the California State Athletic Commission after testing positive for steroids back in August.

White, speaking via MMAFighting.com, said:

“I really don’t know. There’s no timetable. We still have to see what happens with all his personal problems.”
