Dana White on Josh Barnett Coming to the UFC: “probably going to happen”

UFC President, Dana White has revealed that former heavyweight champion, Josh Barnett will most likely be headed to the octagon this year, although he hasn’t spoken with the veteran fighter, he says it’s probably going to happen.

White, speaking via MMAMania, said:

“I have not (spoke with Barnett). It’s probably going to happen.”

Barnett defeated Brett Rogers and Sergei Kharitonov to reach the final of the Strikeforce world heavyweight grand-prix. He ended up losing in the finale to Daniel Cormier via unanimous decision, but bounced back with a win over Nandor Guelmino via arm-triangle choke in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
