Dana White on Chael Sonnen: “He could coach ‘The Ultimate Fighter’. Absolutely”

UFC President, Dana White has taken a step forward with the rumour pitting middleweights, Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva against each other on the thirteenth season of “The Ultimate Fighter” after revealing the California State Athletic Commission will not stand in the way of the Team Quest fighter starring on the reality show.

Dana, speaking today at the UFC 124 pre-fight press conference, said:

“He could coach ‘The Ultimate Fighter.’ Absolutely.”

“I’ve literally been on the road for so long now. I go home Sunday, and then I leave again Monday. I go on the road for another week. There’s a lot of things I haven’t dealt with. I haven’t looked at that thing at all, and now we have to figure out what we do with Chael. I guess the good part is that he got a six-month suspension. I was expecting a year. I have not come anywhere close to picking the coaches of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ yet.”
