Dana White hopeful for Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard II in eight weeks

UFC President, Dana White has revealed that he’s hopeful that Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard will go at for a third time in eight weeks time once again for the lightweight title as both are ready to return to health following injury.

Dana White, speaking at the pre-UFC 130 press conference, said:

“We are playing that one by ear. When Frankie and Gray get healthy we will make that fight as soon as possible – so lets go the longest [possibility] – say… eight weeks? Hopefully they are both healed in eight weeks and we can do it.”
