Dana White, “Shogun” Rua and Anderson Silva heading to Brazil for UFC return

UFC President, Dana White, UFC light heavyweight champion, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva are heading to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil oon December 15th to announce the promotions second ever show in UFC: Ultimate Brazil.

The report comes via Tatame.com, although there is no mention of a possible date for the event to actually happen.

The promotions first Brazilian event was held in October, 1998 and was headlined by the middleweight pound title clash between Frank Shamrock and John Lober, as well as the lightweight title fight between Pat Miletich and Mikey Burnett. Perhaps the most significant fight on the card however was the clash of two Brazilian legends as Vitor Belfort went head-to-head with Wanderlei Silva.
